EDITORIAL
Dear Reader,

Are you one of those readers who have been missing our newsletter? If you are, then please accept our apologies for this short break which to be sure has been very fruitful for ROVASI's marketing department.

There have been two main reasons why we have had to briefly interrupt publication of our electronic news bulletin. Firstly there has been the work we have been doing on getting our new website up and running. As we will be telling you later on in this issue, ROVASI has just inaugurated a new virtual platform where browsing is more intuitive and a whole lot quicker.

Then secondly we have also been taking advantage of this time-out to do some in-depth planning for the upcoming Light+Building fair in Frankfurt; as ever we are looking forward to seeing you there.

So please accept our best wishes for a season which we hope will be very successful for you at both the personal and the professional level.

WWW.ROVASI.COM: a shared platform
Rovasi's new website is already up and running and its key functionality and design improvements include a more intuitive interface. Based on the way our customers and friends had been using the previous versions of our corporate website, we have been able to enhance some features which we hope you will like.

However, the biggest innovation on the site is not in its operation but rather in its content. Given that all of us want to improve our communication with our customers, partners and suppliers, we have created a platform for discussing the issues that most concern us: ROVASI's weblog.

In this new section we will be posting articles and comments about everything going on around us: lighting and new products, fairs, customised solutions, travel, etc. There will even be information about events of general interest, for as the Roman playwright Terence put it, "Nothing that is human is alien to me". Well, we hope our blog will be like that, without becoming an encyclopaedia!

We hope you will see this new communication channel as your own, and that from now on you will share with us your opinions about the issues raised on it.
We look forward to seeing you at www.rovasi.com/weblog/weblog.asp

New products for 2008. More for professionals
The needs of lighting sector professionals are becoming increasingly specific. Design using light is a gaining new converts every day and we would even go as far as to say that it is one of the most significant advances in architecture and interior design.

And in this challenging environment with its highly demanding and technical paradigm, Rovasi really feels at home. We have been developing new products which meet all types of needs, even ones that are still virtually at the embryonic stage, ever since the company was set up, and that means that today our customers know that they can always call on our range of indoor and outdoor architectural lighting solutions.

We are continuing this policy in 2008 with the launch of a new line of LED products which is an extension of our outdoor ranges and includes waterproof lighting. The IP ratings for these new products make them suitable for installation in fountains, swimming pools, ponds, etc. and indeed in any outdoor environment where water is to be found.

Check out Rovasi's catalogue for more information and let your customers enjoy their gardens even more.
